My nickname for these little huts where you have private dining and can order squid, oysters, seafood, drinks and many other things very cheap, I call these oyster bars. They are one of my favorite ways to dine when in the Philippines. The traditional name for these huts are "Nipa Huts" They are made from bamboo and come in all shapes and forms and for many different purposes. They may be used as a house, store, rest house on a farm, restaurant dinning, storage or as a poolside cabana.
